For 12 years, ChildLight Yoga has been offering unique camps for kids focused on the development of the whole child. Our summer camp counselors are experienced educators and kids' yoga teachers who LOVE, connect with, and inspire children and teens every day. ChildLight Yoga's camp themes and activities are specially chosen for their enriching qualities and alignment with our goal of offering children a fun, empowering, educational, and creativity-boosting camp experience. Children will enjoy a nurturing, supportive, non-competitive atmosphere, will stretch, strengthen and energize their bodies and minds, learn to express themselves creatively and compassionately, practice working cooperatively in large and small groups, be introduced to activities they may not have tried before, learn self-regulation techniques, develop special friendships and have loads of fun!

LOCATION: All camps are based at ChildLight Yoga Studio, located in downtown Dover just across from the Children's Museum of NH and Henry Law Park.
Girls ages 8 - 12 years get EMPOWERED during this uplifting and inspiring camp experience! Girls will develop physical and emotional strength and a strong sense of self through the practice of yoga and mindfulness-infused activities, discussions and projects focused on self-reflection, self-care (spa day), body image and the influence of media, community outreach projects and more. In a safe and nurturing space designed to cultivate connection and friendships, girls will be encouraged to think 'outside of the box' and find their authentic voice by learning about inspirational, famous (and not so famous) females, what it means to be a leader, and standing up for what's right with a clear and compassionate voice. There will also be giddiness, play, and lots of laughter during this special week designed to encourage girls to be girls, together!
Yoga & Mindfulness Adventure Camp
Geared for children 5-8 years old, this camp is all about adventure and exploration of everything from yoga-based movement, mindfulness and relaxation activities to storytelling, art, journaling and nutrition. We'll spend time in the park for outdoor games and tons of fun! Through engaging activities, we will explore concepts such as peace, respect, gratitude, confidence and healthy living, allowing the children to experience a sense of accomplishment and progression as they explore these ideas related to a positive and healthy lifestyle.

Note: Due to allergies/special dietary needs, campers should bring their own healthy snack, lunch and drinks each day. Filtered water for water bottle refills is available. More information regarding what to bring and other camp details will be provided by the camp counselor via email at least 1 week prior to camp start dates.
