Professional Training in Infant Developmental Movement and Yoga for Babies with Ellynne Skove
This training will benefit professionals working in the fields of infant health, occupational therapy, physical therapy, dance/movement therapy, yoga, somatic therapy, craniosacral therapy, somatic psychology, birth psychology, early intervention, pediatrics, post partum doula, and baby nursing to name a few.
The training is presented in two segments. First, we'll focus on babies from birth to rolling with an emphasis on tummy time and infant anatomical development. Next, we'll focus on mobile babies from crawling through sitting, pulling up, & walking.
You will gain experiential knowledge of infant developmental movement patterns, principles of pre and perinatal psychology and health, theory, observation skills, and activities for incorporating this work into your own professional practice.
We will explore our own movement patterns, learn through all levels of the brain and senses, and observe demonstration classes via both media materials and visiting babies.
