For 10 years, ChildLight Yoga has been offering unique camps for kids focused on the development of the whole child - physical, cognitive, social and emotional. Our summer camp counselors are experienced educators and kids' yoga teachers who LOVE, connect with, and inspire children every day. ChildLight Yoga's camp themes and activities are specially chosen for their enriching qualities and alignment with our goal of offering children a fun, empowering, educational, and creativity-boosting camp experience. Children will enjoy a nurturing, supportive, non-competitive atmosphere, will stretch and energize their bodies and minds, learn to express themselves creatively and compassionately, practice working cooperatively in large and small groups, be introduced to activities they may not have tried before, learn self-regulation techniques, develop special friendships and have loads of fun! At the end of the last day of camp, children are thrilled to share some of what they've learned and created with parents and friends at the "Share & Show!"
TUITION: Includes all activities, materials and a camp t-shirt!
LOCATION: All camps are based at ChildLight Yoga Studio, located in downtown Dover just across from the Children's Museum of NH and Henry Law Park.
SuperKid Adventure Camp
(ages 4-7 years)
This camp is all about adventure and the development of SUPERKID skills! We will spend the week exploring everything from SuperKid yoga moves and relaxation activities to storytelling, art, journaling and nutrition. We will search for magical treasures while on mini walking field trips, visit local businesses to learn from our neighbors, and spend time in the park for outdoor games and tons of engaging activities designed to inspire the imagination, cultivate social skills and promote physical fitness. This is one adventure you don't want to miss!!
Make a Difference
(ages 8-12 years)
What does it mean to be LEADER?! With a focus on teamwork, building positive relationships and community service, this camp allows boys and girls the opportunity to explore leadership roles through interviews and visits with community leaders in action, develop team building skills, and discover what it means to make a difference in the world. We will also explore self-regulation techniques and promoting peace inside and out through mindfulness practices, games, cooking and nutrition, creative art and much more. Come make a difference with us!
Note: Due to allergies/special dietary needs, campers should bring their own healthy snack, lunch and drinks each day. Filtered water for water bottle refills is available. More information regarding what to bring and other camp details will be provided by the camp counselor via email at least 1 week prior to camp start dates.
