Developing instructional skills in prenatal yoga allows you to add an entirely new dimension to your career as a yoga teacher and childbirth educator. In this training, you will be taught the skills and given the experience to develop classes for students that are overlooked by traditional yoga practices. More importantly, you will be able to help mothers-to-be relieve the aches and pains that are often associated with pregnancy.
Training will focus on modifications of traditional yoga postures for pregnancy, anatomy and physiology of the pregnant body, the changing needs of each trimester, prenatal pranayama, and creating sacred space for mothers and their babies. By participating in this professional workshop, each participant will receive the confidence to teach a fun, effective, and safe class for mothers-to-be.
Required Reading for this training:
Avantika Waleryszak is the founder of the Still Point Healing Method and director of Amber Moon Wellness in Downtown Portsmouth, NH. She is a transformational teacher and Spiritual Life Coach. Teaching yoga for the past 15 years, she completed her Kripalu Yoga Teacher Training in 1999 and became an Integrated Yoga Teacher in 2002. She also became a certified Integrated Healing Therapist in 2003. She has continued her education as a healer and yoga teacher by taking classes for certification in prenatal yoga, leadership, consciousness studies and meditation. Avantika is a Reiki Master. Additionally, she will be graduating this Fall with her BA degree with concentrations in Clinical Psychology and Neuroscience through Vermont College Union Institute and University.

Times: Friday 10am-6pm, Saturday 10am-6pm, Sunday 10am-4pm

Tuition: $375, plus $25 for manual to be paid to instructor at the day of training
